Dryer running but not heating. I changed the igniter but still no heat. What else could be keeping it from heating? Help!!! I do not want to get rid of the dryer nor do I have money to purchase a new one. Please give me some pointers.

In the back of the dryer there is a thermal fuse. If the the ignitor is not coming on, that is your problem. It is white in color, and has 2 wires coming to it. You could pull the wires off, and put them together, to jump it out, just to test it. Don't run it like that. Let me know what you find. Tom ApplianceEducator.com

I have searched for the thermal fuse on the back of the dryer and can't find it. I have removed the cover to panel where the controls are, removed the top of the dryer but unable to find the fuse. The back of the dryer is sealed. I cant get to the back of the dryer basket. Please tell me exactly where the fuse is located and how to get to it. Thanks.

I apologize, the thermal fuse, is on the blower housing on the front of the dryer. It will either be it or the flame sensor if the ignitor does not come on. Tom ApplianceEducator.com

I was able to find the Thermal fuse on the front of the dryer behind the blower as you instructed. I removed the cables and tested it (jumped it out) as you suggested and the dryer ignited. So I believe that I have found the problem. I have ordered the a new Thermal Fuse and will replace it as soon as it a rrives in a couple of days. Thank you very much for saving me some money that I did not have.:)

Tom, just wanted you to know that today I recieved the Thermal Fuse and installed it. Put everything back together and dryer is up and running. I feel so proud of myself but couldn't have done it without your help. Thank you so much for helping me out and saving me some money. I hope to get a few more years of service from my dryer. This online service is great. Thanks a million.:)
