Would it drain and spin if you advance the timer? How far should you move it?

Gene. I would like to know if the motor itself for GE Profile range hood can be fixed. I'm talking about just the motor. The whole assy is too expensive. Any suggestions? M#jv635h1ww s#dg8019642 Thxs

I would suspect the timer. The model number you posted is incorrect. I believe it should be TAWS700EQ1 instead of TAW5700EQ1. Verify and repost it.
Gene.
