I have check the door switch, thermal fuse, push to start button and all look okay. What I did find has me stumped as I cant seem to find it in the APP.com website. There is what looks like a thermal snap switch located just below the thermal fuse on the dryer exhaust box. Its a little different from the hitemp snapswitch on the element in that it has the two red wires that are closed and it also has two purple wires that are open. Can anyone tell me what that switch is and if it is correct. one more thing if it is correct is the timer the next best guess as to the problem.

I did find that it was the thermastat. so I doubt that is the issue. Will I get a closed loop through the safety circuit if the motor start switch is bad?
