Morning guys, First post for me,hope I can get some help.
Some how the front of the on/off arm has come out of the motor end of icemaker and w/o removing the whole assembly I can not seem to get it back in the hole or what ever it goes into. Mainly cause I can't see in there! Any info would be great. Thanks Chip66

Maybe this diagram of ice maker will help. It'll be easier if you take the ice maker out. You can see two screws (39). Loosen them and maybe one on the bottom and you can lift it off the screws. Unplug the wiring harness and take it out. Remove the plastic end cover to see where the arm goes. Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL ER8MHMXML03 | AppliancePartsPros.com

woodchuckie, thanks for the diagram. gave me an idea of what it looks like. so first i took a mirror and held it up there, and right there was the hole for the arm! I had been trying to put it in the wrong place before. not a good thing. so thanks again. chip66
