Per my troubleshooting guide for my 700 series Kenmore dryer, I purchased a fuse for the thermal coil side. In addition, i purchased a thermostat just in case, getting the part numbers from existing parts. I installed the fuse, and the coil heated right up. However, after running just a short period of time, the heat stopped working again. I checked all my connections and installed the thermostat to check that, but I still do not have heat. Help!

A Model Number would be helpful
Could be the thermal fuse blew again On many units the fuse and the high limit thermostat should be changed as a set. Also did you clean/check your vent system and the blower wheel? |
