The water dispenser on my Whirlpool refrigerator is not working properly. At first, when it is engaged, water comes out, but soon (2-4 secs) the stream of water diminishes until it stops altogether. The ice maker is working fine. What can I do?

Hello Lizg23. Try removing the water line from the water valve and press the lever to dispense water. If it stops flowing at the valve, you will need to replace the water valve. Hope this helps. Part number: AP3103466

and the tubing. There could be a hairline crack in the reservoir, or a loose connection on the tubing, causing a pressure drop, otherwise it would be a bad fill valve. Good Luck, :) :) :)
