My Kenmore Dishwaser skips the Wash cycle and stops at the rinse cycle. Any Ideas on what the problem is?

In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of the dishwasher. Also I need as much description of the problem as possible,

Does it have any time intervals between heat and drain? Does it make any noise?

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL KUDI01TJWH0 | AppliancePartsPros.com

Check the wash pump motor and if there is nothing wrong then most likely the problem is a bad control board. The tech sheets might help.
