The wifes dryer wont stay running. I believe it is in the timer. Here is what's going on: You set the timer to run and it wont come on unless you "jiggle" the timer dial. It will only stay running for a short period the buzzer sounds and shuts off. It really feels like there is a contact inside of the timer that is worn out. After it shuts off you can jiggle it again and it will come on. Sometimes it will stay running sometimes it wont. I opened up the back and everything was tight. Any thoughts?? Thanks, Todd

Here are your parts Model LER6848AW0The timer could cause your problem. In any case even if it is not the direct cause, it sounds like the timer needs replacing. |
