This last week our freezer started warming up from 0 -24 We had seen some frost on the inside so we cleaned it out and restarted it. It still doesn't get down where it should be. We have never had any problem w/ this unit before. Thank you for your help

I cannot find any info using your model number. What type of freezer is this?
Also I do not understand the following "This last week our freezer started warming up from 0 -24" Was it at 0 degrees F and is now at 24 degrees F?
Is the compressor cycling on/off?
If it is always on and the unit is not getting down to 0 to 5 degrees F, then you probably you have a problem in the sealed system. Could be a plugged orifice, bad compressor, low on freon or out of freon. All of these will be an expensive repair and it usually makes more sense to invest those dollars into a new unit. |
