My lights went out one morning and came back on. (we beleive it was weather related). When I returned from work I noticed the fridge was not as cold as usual. The lights and fan worked. Me being a gueniss (lol) looked under the sheet metal in the back and found the motherboard was burnt and sparking to the touch. Of course I unplugged it after that. I ordered the new motherboard and installed it. My kitchen breaker blew out an hour later. The fridge is like not getting cold at all. Same senerio lights where on and the fan blowing. (no the compressor was not truning on) Oh I already replaced the relay next to the compressor. It was a universal piece. I'm lost now any suggestions?

Hi Marcos
What relay did you replace? What is the part number? The problem could be a wrong relay or a bad compressor. If your fridge is less then five years old, the compressor should be under the manufacturer warranty, but the relay is not. And if you used a wrong relay it could void the warranty on the compressor.
Gene.

Check for a shorted compressor to ground. If so, it is covered under your warranty.
