I'm glad to hear your washer is back in business. The motor failure is very questionable in such situation. I would check all wires and connections.

Hello any idea why this suddenly started working? I am having identical problem.. spins for a few seconds, then stops [also some smoke]. unit spins freely, when stopped nothing is spinning at all. Any pointers??
