My refrigerator is too cold 30 degrees! Any adjustment on the temp control has no effect. I spoke to a local appliance shop & they thought it was the therostat not working properly.Could this be true and if yes, Is the thermostat something I could change and where is it located ?

Well we need to test the thermistor on this unit. If the thermistor is ok, then you have a diffuser problem. The thermistor and diffuser are located in the upper left side of the refrigerator. Here are the readings for the thermistor. You will need a multi-meter to test it. Temperature Resistance 77°F..................10,000 ohms 36°F..................29,500 ohms 0°F....................86,300 ohms Here are the part numbers for both parts. Hope this helps. Part number: AP3745265
