this oven wont ignite the range burners are ok

Does the igniter (#14 on the diagram) glow?

If it does then most likely the igniter itself is too weak to open the gas valve and has to be replaced.

If it does not, then you have to check if there is 120 VAC to the igniter while the oven thermostat calls for Bake and post the results.

Is this true even if the igniter glows? Our igniter comes on but the valve doesn't open.
