Dryer runs but produces very little heat. It runs continuously. Change timer but this does not seem to be the problem

Start by checking your household breaker by turning it off then back on. Test the dryer again. If that doesn't work then continue with the below. Remove the rear panel and test the thermostats and element for continuity.

How about replaceing the coils on the gas valve. If you first turn the dryer on, and it gets hot, then after that, you won't get much heat at all. It is most likely the secondary coil on the gas valve. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
