Hello I have an older GE propane dryer that has been unstoppable till now. The drying cycle has increased considerable. I have verified there is no lint with in the dryer, in the tube or at the house exit. nor has anthing changed in the this area. I have verified the thermistates have continuity and that they function with some amount of heat applied (via hair dryer). the gas ignitor works fine on initial start up so I don't believe there is an issue there during the run time. the only thing I can find that doesn't function 100% is the timer. Of the 3 settings Auto Cotton, Auto Permanent Press and Incremental time setting, only the time setting still works. The auto cotton died first. Also inorder to have anything dry the "high heat" button has to be selected on the push button side.

What are the thoughts? My initial is replacing the Timer but hate to drop $100 on a part if I am missing something. thanks for the assistance.
