110 volt gas dryer. Ok, I see alot of posts with this problem. I have cleaned the filter and exhaust duct. I can see the exhaust coming out of the vent on the outside of the house since its around 40 degrees here.

Here is what I see happening. I turn the dryer on, shortly after I can see the glow in the little access door on the bottom right of the dryer. Then the burner starts up. It runs from 1-3 minutes then, shuts off. A few minutes later, this cycle repeats. I've read that coils on the gas valve are a common problem. Would it cycle like a described if those were bad or, would the burner only come on once at the beginning and that's it? My thought is that perhaps the thermostat is shutting it down, then it cools a minute and starts back up? Rinse and repeat so to speak?

I'm going to look into checking the parts with my multimeter but, I wanted to post first to give you time to answer in case I'm on the wrong path. This dryer looks new but is pretty old. Will I be able to find parts for it?

I just read a post where a senior member told someone it's usually the high limit thermostat. He said you have to check it by waiting for the heat to kick off and quickly unplug the dryer, pull one wire off of it and, ohm it. Is this the way I have to do it instead of just checking it while the dryer has been off for awhile?

Check the blower fan to make sure it's not stripped out in the center.
These fan strip out easy and then don't move the air like they should.

Okay, I have replaced the stripped blower wheel but, I still have the problem of the burner not staying lit. I have gale force air coming out the back so I can eliminate air flow. I know for certain the 2 prong gas coil is good because I used it in another dryer that was broke down. It fixed that dryer up so I can use that old one as a temp til I get mine fixed. I guess I will put two new coils in next.

I gave the multimeter readings of things and, symptoms in the first two posts of this thread.

Any advice?
