I hope this helps. :) :) :) Thanks again Joe for all your help. everything is back together and working just fine. Ran two loads already and there is no unsual noise. The problem was the gear and spline at the lower end of the agitator shaft. I replaced the whole shaft assembly, reassembled the gearcase and it is perfect. Thanks again. Don
