My fridge is very loud. The fan makes a loud noise but is not loose. It seems to be sealed, but is some way to lubricate it? Not sure if that would help. Any ideas?

Was thanked: 2 time(s) in 2 post(s)
They have had trouble with the rubber motor grommets on these, I usually add a grommet (a small rubber washer will work) to the mounts to stiffen them up.

Sprayed WD40 on the fan motor without removing the motor. It had no immediate effect, but the next day it was very quiet. Almost 2 weeks later and all is still well and quiet. Huge improvement.
