I have a model 106 626663 ice maker that just quit working. I removed the ice maker and there was frozen cubes in it. I re-installed the ice maker but it doesn't seem to be getting water. When I open the freezer door the led blinks twice, pauses and blinks twice again. This happens even when I hold the flapper down. If I hold the flapper down and the door switch down the LED doesn't blink at all. Any thoughts before I purchase a new ice maker.

Open the freezer door, and squeeze the black hose that drops water into the ice maker. If it is hard it is frozen defrost it. If all is Ok, look at the fingers that drop the ice out, if they are looking at you, replace the emitter kit, if not replace the motor module on the icemaker. Tom ApplianceEducator.com

The 2 binks and a pause then repeat the blinks is telling you the optics are working fine.
