how do I replace the bake element

First disconnect the power (by turning it off at tha breaker). If you can see the element, loosen the brackets at the back of the oven and gently pull the element out. Pull the terminal connectors off the element. Insallation is in reverse order. If you can't see the element, you'll need to remove the bottom panel of the oven to expose it. Part number: AP4099883

To replace the Bake Element : Turn power off to the range, or unplug power cord Remove the oven door and racks,(easier to access). Remove the two screws above the element ends, in the stainless steel tabs. Slowly, carefully slide element out towards you, until wires/ termials are accessable. **( you may want to use a paper clip or some type of clip to retain the wires, so they don't slip back into the cavity)** Reverse procedure to complete the repair, and test element for operation.
