Dear Friend,

Recently I changed the " Ignitor" In that case you have the "smell of gas" and I successfully changed that 4 months ago.

My stove top is working.

My oven by turning on the Selector (Bake) on Right and then turning on the "Oven temp on Left is not turning on or allowing gas to enter oven.

No smell, no hiss. No inside oven working.

I checked all electrical connections which are all clean as I cleaned everything when I changed the ignitor 4 months ago. I also checked the fuse which appears ok. What setting do I set my meter to check a fuse rated at 5 amp max should you advise to do so?

Thank you
Frank

Frank,

To test the fuse with a meter, you'd set your meter on the RX1 scale and check from chrome end to chrome end (in line fuse) or screw type (slow blow fuse) from gray center on bottom to brass threads on the sides for a closed circuit.

If you do have an open fuse, and can't find a replacement part(discontinued in our parts department). you can by pass it.

I'm just wanderring if your Igniter comes on and glows ?

I don't have a schematic for this unit , so I'm not going to be, of much help.

Good Luck,
