Whirlpool gold ultimate care gas dryer. dryer runs but does not get hot to dry the clothes. I've tried all different dryer settings and the problem is the same. Help me out. Thanks

does the dryer heat but not dry or does it not heat if it heats but wont dry check your dryer vent if it is restricted it will heat but can't get the moist air out so it wont dry if it is not heating there are several things it could be does the igniter come on but no flame or does the igniter not even come on no igniter check the thermal fuse and/or thermostat if the igniter does come on check the gas valve coils or the gas valve (assuming the gas is turned on i've been out to a house that the gas was turned off accidentally)
