My washer will not spin or drain water,the switch under the lid seems to be ok the washer will fill with water but wont spin or drain, PLEASE HELP

usuall the problem is lid switch,try bypassing it

I am having the same problem, I can hear the motor trying to move (electrical hum) until I lift the lid and the hum returns when I close the lid, so I assume its not the switch.

if washer agitates +motor hums on drain +spin period .you may have motor problem

I Just Replaced The Timer On My Whirlpool Washer It Did Not
Solve The Problem What Else Could Be Wrong.
My Model Number Is Lsr 8133hqo.

Thanks for all of your post the washer will drain now but wont spin the motor is on but basket wont spin? And this shouldnt have a belt right?

If you can hear the motor then it's the motor coupler or a bad clutch
