Cold water continues to fill the machine without stopping. No problem with the hot water shutoff. Serious problem.

If it still fills without power to washer=new water solenoid time.

washer over fills, hot and cold water, Kenmore washer.

If your washer is unplugged and water flow stops, you probably have a bad water level switch or a clogged sensor hose, probably due to soap residue at the bottom of the tub. Blow in the hose and clean out at the bottom.
