I have a Gibson washer. During the wash cycle the tub spins around from the force of the agitator. It does not lock into place. I need to know what part I need to order to correct this problem. Please help. Thanks.

There is a bearing inside the transmission which locks the spin basket.

See this service manual for a description of the process and how to replace the transmission if you decide to go that route.
