Maytag dryer wont start. I have checked power at dryer its all good. It started last night, then this morning I noticed the clothes were not dry, and when I opened the door the light did not come on. First thing I did was check the breaker, it was not tripped. After checking power again, I pluged it back in and can hear the timer going but no light and no start. Also I removed the switch on the door and it tests OK. Any other sugguestions???

I am going to ask you to take a meter and check to make certain that 120 is getting to each side of connection block. Sometimes it can appear that the breaker is ok, when it is not.
Be very careful as you are working with live current.
If it checks out then open the dryer and check each of the thermostats and thermal fuses.
Let us know what you find out, and we can go from there.
Thanks
