My dryer is starting to act up. took off the access panel on the back and could see burner come on and glow but it would go off. checked gas valve solenoids with meter and both and continuity. so i took it all apart and what do you know the pilot lit up. so i put it all back together and it wouldn't light...go figure... so i took it all back apart and made it run and since the gas is on and the glow thingy is glowin but won't allow the gas to flow out and light, the only thing i can see it being is the flame sensor contraption mounted through the window on the burner pipe thing. am i going in the right direction? any help would be appreciated...

sorry for the less than technical vocabulary...i had no idea how a dryer worked until i took it apart...and i had to get on the internet to see how to do that!

How did you check the gas valve coils? Simple continuity test does not prove they are good. You can find the instructions in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...er-runs-but-no-heat.html
