Gas dryer. Starts, runs, no noises. No heat. I hear a faint buzzing periodically then the ignitor glows for about 20 seconds and goes out. No gas ignition. Further observation: On first start up (cold) I get ignition and light off. Subsequent times during the same cycle, ignitor glows but no light off.

I found a schematic and l researched other forums and I decided to change both fuel coils. All the interlocks that could go bad would have prevented the ignitor from working. Since the ignitor was always working I went with the coils. Problem solved. I got good advice on this forum before to fix a refer problem. No one wanted to help me this time.

Missed your post. Would have suggested the coils as well. We are techs who volunteer our time here. It's not like there is someone sitting at the computer waiting to help. We check in periodically and try to help out when we can. Good job on figuring it out yourself. Faulty coils are a very common problem.
