Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/18/2013(UTC) Posts: 2		We have an Amana ARB2517csl bottom mount freezer refer. this morning it was making a cliciking sound trying to start the compressor. I tested the compressor with a VOM, no shorts to ground. We emptied the unit and it sat tfor 5-6 hours. I turned power back on and the compressor started normally- no clicking sounds. My question is 1. is the defrost timer electrically powered or did it complete its cycle without power and allow the start relay to function normally and 2. where is the timer located on this unit? Thanks for any suggestions.
