My garbage disposal just started humming! Nothing is in it, I looked this model up and there is only a screw at the bottom, what does this go to? There is nothing that up can stick anything in to loosen. Is there any other way to loosen the blade.

Try using a motor or mechanical oil to loosen the screw, it might be full of rust. In door repairs it is often used such as in garage door services in alberta and door maintenance.
