are you unplugging the unit from the wall for 90 seconds? when you restore power you have about 30 seconds to press the buttons in this sequence. signal-delay-signal-delay. also make sure door is shut good. if it still does not work, leave unplugged overnight and try again. if it still does not react, yes, the control is bad
