Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/21/2009(UTC) Posts: 5		I know this has been discussed on this forum before, but I couldn't find a thread specifically the the make and model I have. The dryer has power, the light comes in inside the drum, but it won't start. I can also hear the timer running. I replaced the door switch, but still nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Doug

You dryer has the belt switch which is a safety device and if the belt brakes then the dryer would not do anything. Does the drum need to come out? Doug Yes, you have to disassemble the dryer. Before you'll do it, do one more test. Open the dryer door and tape in the door switch. Push and hold the start switch and manually rotate the drum. Post the result. Gene.
