I have what I believe is a 1994 Amana, side X side, with icemaker in freezer. I used it in our house from 2002 to 2007, then put it in our barn, disconnected and unused, till now. Someone wants to trade me for a used pellet stove and I'm trying to make sure everything works on the refer. Plugged it in and refer and freezer both get cold but only got trickle of water out the door and no water in the ice maker. Removed lower back panel and disconnected and cleaned out incoming water and both lines leading out. Inlet screen was totally plugged with dirt and sediment and cleaned that out and reinstalled. The water in the door is now full force and water had filled and overflowed the icemaker. Couple hours later, checked the icemaker and the tray is frozen and the water in the bottom of cube bin was frozen solid. Removed the cube bin and emptied out the ice and waited a couple of more hours and the cubes do not discharge from the tray. The on-off bar is in the on position. It has been 6 hours and no discharge of the ice. Is this a problem with the water valve splitter on the back-bottom or something else like another part not getting the signal to discharge the ice? Any help would be appreciated.
