It will do the initial fill but won't wash, I took the motor out and tested it it works I was told the pump may be bad where is that and how would I check that?

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/16/2013(UTC) Posts: 3		It does make a whining noise when it should be washing I took the motor on the bottom center out number 70 in the diagram it functioned properly on a bench test, the unit drains with no problems as well.

I guess I'm not sure how to check it on the machine? Does the drain pump act as the spray/wash pump as well?

It will be better if you call a expert repairman for repairing. He is solve your problem very well. I want to add one thing your washer belt may be crack or damaged. It may have to be replace.

Open the door during the wash cycle and check the water level inside. Try to add a few cups of water manually to see if the spray arm will spin. Remove the toe panel and touch the motor while it's on wash cycle. You should feel it. Gene.
