Tested the soap dispenser actuator and it tested good. Ran a complete cycle with a volt meter hooked up to soap dispenser actuator wires and did not get any voltage. Not sure if this is a control board problem.

Any advice would be appreciated

Hi.

If you are not getting 120VAC to the dispenser - replace the control board Part number: WD21X10366
Part number: WD21X10366

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Escutcheon & Door Assembly parts for GE GHDA690P00BB - AppliancePartsPros.com

Post the results.

Hey Simon,

I hate to bother you again but my soap door is still not opening. Worked the first time but not since. I ran the cycle again with the volt meter hooked up and it is getting 120 volts to the actuator but for only 1 minute on a stop watch. When I test the soap door hooked directly to 120 volts it takes 1 minute 22 seconds for the actuator to open the door. Is this a normal time for the actuator to work and should I be getting voltage to it for more than 1 minute?

Thanks Wayne

Hi.

Checked all possible sources with no luck.Nobody mentions for how long the wax motor is energized.
You should replace the dispenser

Part number: WD12X10220
Part number: WD12X10220

and return the control board back if you got it from APP.

Thank you.

Simon.
