Just bought a GE dryer, model GTDN550DWW, and ran a few loads through it just fine. Everything appears to be working normally, except when I press Start to start the dryer, it just beeps and nothing happens. The breaker is good, but I don't know what else to look at except stand there and press Start over and over...
It was an expensive dryer and only got 2-3 loads out of it and now it won't start... #disappointed #seriouslyGE?
Any help would be appreciated.

It would be best to get it fixed under warranty.
This unit does not come up, you may be missing a letter just before the DWW. Perhaps an E or a G. GE likes to keep all tech info a secret so getting anything on a unit is difficult.
If it lets you run a load OK but the problem starts after the unit heats up then it could be the motor overheating. |
