Hello All! Quick question for everyone. I have an eight year old GE dryer (Model DVL223) that will not turn on. When I set the timer and then turn the switch to start the dryer, it makes a humming sound and does not start. I have checked GE's website and the user manual and did not find anything.
I have checked the circuit breaker, unplugged and replugged in the dryer, made sure the drum could turn and verified there was no backup in the vent hose.
Any suggestions on what may be the culprit? Thanks in advance!
