KitchenAid refrigerator stopped making ice, water dispenser is fine. replaced inlet water valve, still same problem. any idea what might be wrong?

Did everything per your suggestion, nothing happened. Is the red flashing light suppose to turn green?

No, but it can be steady on, blinking or completely off. I need to know its status.

I hope you did not touch the door light switch? If that's correct, then replace the optic boards on both sides. - The PC boards kit Part number: 4389102

light is still off but for some unknown reason, it started making ice again. Thanks anyway Gene for your pront response.
