I have gotten into test mode, display shows t01. How do I run the test? I pressed and held the start button and it beeped and displayed a 3 that is the correct code for this model number. I have been unable to take the next step.

I figured out how to do the diagnostic test.
When I run test 11, the spin test. The machine does not spin. Display shows a zero. The next step also does not spin and the display shows a zero. Where do I go from here?

What did it show for t2?
What was the original problem?

Each time the washer starts, a wake up routine should be initiated:
The door locks. The wash basket briefly tumbles in both directions. The door unlocks. The door locks. The fill cycle begins.
Did it do it?
If you did hear the click from the door lock, verify if the door was really locked.
Gene.

Gene. Yes, it went through the start up sequence as you describe. I let the machine run full cycle in order to generate any applicable codes. It ran as I would have expected. It drained after the wash cycle and refilled for the rinse cycle. The only thing I can detect is that the basket doesn't tumble and/or spin when it should.

Check the inverter and the motor as described in the attached files. Post the results. Gene.

Gene. Thanks for all your help. The plastic box only contains connectors so I am assuming that this is not the inverter. I assume the inverter is the metal box to the rear of the plastic box. It has two heat sinks on it. That box is humming when the drum should be turning.
