Should I also swap pots while I am at it?

No signs of any issues on the disassembled pot. All traces look bright and shiny. The contacts also are bright and shiny.

I did swap the pots, and that didn't change things. Moving on...

Testing per the procedure

1. Voltage from Spark Module
a. SW1-N: 366mV with burner on HI
b. SW2-N: 121.3V with burning on HI
c. NO A on my spark module

2. Voltages at Simmer Controller
Some issues here as mine is not labeled like the instructions... I have a Line and -5V contact (I believe these are ganged together).
a. POT2-Line: 0VDC with burner on high
b. POT2 to -5V: 0VDC with burner on high
c. POT1-Line: 0VDC with burner on high
d. POT1 to -5V: 0VDC with burner on high

3. Check voltage from Line5 to Line.
a. 0 VDC

Replace simmer controller??? We did that...

It is possible that the simmer control got damaged due to this electrical short.

Anything else you would recommend trying or testing before ordering a replacement?

Is there a PN for the rubber feet that go on the burner grates? As long as I am ordering I would love to get those too.

Looks like they are coming together with the grates only.
