Breaker had tripped, and I hadn't realized. I had power on a separate line. Totally unrelated to this issue.

I don't breaker tripping was unrelated after all-clearly spoke too soon when I said unrelated- I thought once the front was working I was good...
I connected the line from the rear to the known good pot/valve- the breaker tripped immediately when I reconnected power (pot in off position). "Pop" and ozone. So generally un-good stuff.
At this point I am not sure what the best approach is? Is it to trouble shoot the wiring or is it better easier to just replace the wiring harness? Or is this likely even neccessary?
Anyway the funny thing is I was plugging the known good pot from the front into the rear connector. When I now examine the connectors I see discoloration on the front connector.
Any thoughts greatly apprciated.

Check all wires for possible broken insulation. Double check the installation of all new parts.

Hi Gene I removed all connections and reseated them. Inspected all wiring and found no frayed bits, no bad insulation etc. All wires are nice and pliable etc. At this point I have installed new simmer control module, new spark module, and new pots on both simmer valves.
Reconnected everything and tested. RESULT Right burners ok and unchanged Left front burner works in regular and simmer mode. Blue light lights, etc Left rear burner does not work at all. No solenoid click, no blue light, no gas.
I swapped the solenoid from the front and rear burners on the off chance. The situation remains unchanged. Front simmer burner is perfect. Rear burner still dead.
Any recommendations on how to trouble shoot the rear burner?

Repeat the troubleshooting as instructed in the attached file on the first page of this thread.

That procedure is relevant to the PSC364GD? Remember I had the model number confused. If so I will get on it.

Before you will do it, remove the potentiometer for the LR burner and accurately take it apart. Check the contacts inside. Very likely some of them are burned out. If that's true, replace the potentiometer. - The potentiometer Part number: 422748
