Refigerator section is 30 degrees, freezer -20, subject refrigerator runs all the time. I think the Jaz board relay is stuck, or the thermister bad. Refrigerator will shut off if temp. control turned off. Will look at it tomorrow, hope someone has seen this before, thanks in advance. The refrigerator is a Maytag, not Modern Maid

Mystery solved! Measured 32 degrees back wall of fridg. 42 on front by the controls and thermister. Found customer spead smooth plastic over the vent holes under the crisper drawers!

So I guess the question "Did you block or cover any holes or vents on purpose?" is really not a dumb question to ask someone having a problem.

He put the plastic there, but didn't realize he was blocking air flow. I try not to ask embarasing questions.
