Gets voltage to run capacitor. capacitor shows no continuity with tester. compressor & fan will not operate.

Here are your parts Replacement parts for Kenmore 3639762811 | AppliancePartsPros.comIf you go to the Sears parts site they do have parts breakdowns, too bad they do like to share them. Try jiggling the temperature back and forth a bit, if it fires up replace the thermostat. You said the compressor and the condenser/compressor fan is off but is the evaporator/freezer fan also if. If it is then it may stuck in a defrost cycle. Looks like the defrost timer is in the control console. There is usually a hole that will let you turn the timer cam with a screw driver without having to take things apart. Turn the cam if it fires up replace the timer. Part number: AP2061721
The3 cam is on the back side of the timer in the center or the round area. |
