I have installed new emitter and receiver boards and I have the service manual (R-92). I have done the component diagnostics test with T & H holes jumpered with no response from the ice maker. I have measured the voltage at the L & N test points and at the connector that plugs into the ice maker with the ice maker detached and the voltage measures 34.5 VAC. Should be 115VAC. Also, the water line to the ice maker is not plugged with ice. I don’t want to buy a new ice maker until I know why the voltage is so low and have that problem solved. The LED in the original emitter board was bad but I don’t know if the original receiver board was bad. The power for the ice maker comes from the receiver board, according to the schematic in the manual. Would it be advisable to replace the new receiver board with the old board? What next???

db98,

I think I am having the same problem as you, I also got about 34 VAC when checking my ice maker. I had the ice maker and water valve both replaced and still no luck.
I will let you know what I find out.
Thanks,
Jeff
