My ice maker freezes the water in the pan but then can't/doesn't flip the ice out. I'm contemplating replacing the entire unit myself. I've taken the unit out, thawed it, and reinstalled once before. Ice worked fine for about a month. Now, it has quit once again, and the thaw and reinstall does't work. Do you feel replacing the entire unit ($120.98) will solve the problem??? And do you feel this would be cheaper than hiring a repairman? I've no idea what is wrong (thermostat/sensor??). What do you suggest?
Thanks for your input!!! Mike
