I have a Calypso washer that is leaking about a cup of water out from underneath every cycle. I took off the front and ran it through the cycle to determine the cause. None of the hoses are leaking. The leak is originating from the left bottom of the tub directly between the stabilizers from a small welded joint on the frame that holds the tub. I see no evidence that it is coming from the top so I assume the bottom of the tub or a seal is compromised. Which is it likely to be and what is an approximate cost to repair? Has apparently been leaking for some time since the bottom is now rusted through in one spot.

It is hard to say what needs to be replaced without being there, but these are not the greatest machines in the world (they are very good when the work, not good when the have problems which unfortunately is the case many times). Given it 10+ years it is ready to be replaced.
