My dishwasher continues to fill without any cycles selected. I have turned off the power to the dishwater and the water still continues to fill at a fast rate. The only way to stop the water is to turn it off at the shut off valve located on the water lines.
Any ideas of where i should start trouble shooting.
Thanks for any help.

Here are your parts Model DU941PWKB1Remove the kick panel. Remove the connector from the water valve, Item 16 in the "Tub Assembly" section. Turn the water back on. If it starts to fill with the door open then you know the valve is shot as it should be closed with no power to it. Note: It may not start to fill, this does not mean the valve is OK because you have removed the water pressure from it and this may have let it close. So if it does not fill, reattach the connector to the valve and with the water on start a cycle. Then open the door, it should stop filling immediately. If not the valve is shot. Only other thing it could be is if something weird is happening and it is getting power with the door open. The door switches normally kill power to the entire dishwasher. |
