Can you see or hear the bake and broil burners clicking when you turn the oven ON ? There are a couple of possibilities based on your post, beside checking fo loose connections and broken wires, A bad DSI spark module, Part number: AP3672576

If it does glow but never achieves a "white" hot appearance, the glow bar is weak and cannot trigger the valve switch to open and release gas, you can verify that procedure with a multi meter as well , there should be 3.2 to 3.6 VAC across the 2 wires on the bake burner valve. Part number: AP4096758

Hi, our oven has also been identified as having a malfunctioning gas valve. Do you have a schematic of where this part is located in the oven? I have reviewed the schematics on your website for this oven but cannot find this particular part.
Thanks in advance, JRV

Thanks in advance, JRV JRV, There are three different ranges discussed in the post. Could you get us a model number so we can assist you more effectively. In most cases you can remove the oven racks, and oven bottom panel, to access the igniter and valve to test or observe the ignition process. :) :) :)

Thanks, JRV JRV, Thanks for the update. The procedure to access the bake burner igniter is the same as the previous post: Open or remove the oven door and racks. carefully remove the oven bottom panel, remove the flame spreader from the burner tube. Program a bake cycle and temperature and observe the igniter for a glow and gas ignition. As noted in the previous post, you can usue a meter to check the voltage on the wires at the safety valve, or observe the igniter, it should have a "white hot" glow/color to it in 60 seconds or less, if it's working proper. :) :) :)
