Dishwasher came with house purchase - I do not know how long its been off. When any cycle is chosen and start is pressed, motor spins for about 30 seconds and shuts off. Confirmed water to water fill valve. Removed valve and flushed some sediment out. Overfill float assmbly good - Got voltage to solenoid, Valve bad? Button Control? Thoughts?

Got voltage to solenoid Yes if you get 120 volts across the valve and it does not open it is toast.
I am assuming that by solenoid you mean the valve. |

If there is 0 volts then also try it with the wires removed from the valve. |
