I went to unload my dishwasher tonight and the bottom was full of water. I ran the rinse cycle again to see if it would drain and it ended up with more water in it. The motor sounded like it engaged and ran through the rinse cycle. I shut off the circuit breaker, siphoned out all the water and removed the front panel. I am not sure what to look for next.

First check to see if there is a kinked or restricted drain hose. Could also be clogged. Does the sink drain freely? Next, you should check the pump for obstruction or operation. This may need to be done by a qualified technician.

Does it drain into the garbage disposer, or do you have an airgap at the sink, if airgap, check for a clog there
